Royal Aerospace emerged in 2020 from Shri Annamalai Chettiar’s challenge in managing Dubare, the family’s estate in Coorg. Travel from the Palace in Chettinad to the estate would take an entire day. To address this, a 3000-foot grass runway is being constructed in the 220-acre property, which, when completed, would reduce travel time to about a couple of hours.
Extensive research led to the selection of Gyroplanes for their suitability in Coorg’s mountainous terrain and their ability to navigate through monsoon winds and unpredictable weather. With features like handling crosswinds up to 40 kilometers per hour, taking off and landing in ultra-short distances, and the extraordinary ability to land without a motor, Gyroplanes stand out as the ideal choice.
An Honour
Even before it’s arrival in India, this coveted Gyroplane, the 916 TRIPLE, has become the most sought after aircraft. Other estate owners and resorts in Coorg, several families in Chettinad, some of the largest hospitals, senior executives in corporations. and several others across the country are eager to acquire the 916 triple. To meet this need, Royal Aerospace Corporation has partnered to represent Manufaktura Lotnicza and to setup a manufacturing facility in India, as required.
